Along with Mesa Verde, Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railway, and Purgatory at Durango Mt. Resort, the Diamond Circle Melodrama is the biggest attraction in Durango!
Under the custodianship of The Durango Arts Center (DAC), a 501c Non Profit organization serving the greater Durango community, the “Melodrama” will play in a newly renovated theatre in the DAC at 802 E.2nd Ave. Fundraising is underway to raise $150,000 to upgrade the theatre by late spring 2008.
New productions, new leadership, new venue, but good, old-fashioned Melodrama and Vaudeville fun will greet approximately 12,500 fans next season from June through August.
The renovations will include a new stage curtain, one that offers you a wonderful opportunity to promote your business to visitors (comprising 95% of our audience) and locals alike. Special discounts apply for advertisers who go under contract before December 31st, 2007.
